Saltire Fellow 2012, Stuart Cassells is an entrepreneur who founded the innovative bagpipe-rock group 'The Red Hot Chilli Pipers'. Using his skills in Marketing and PR, Stuart created a unique brand that has huge recognition both in Scotland and internationally. Driven by sales, Stuart led the creative team and marketing strategy that achieved twice winners of 'Best Live Act' at The Scots Trad Music Awards, and two platinum discs and a UK gold disc for album sales. Focused on growth internationally, Stuart has successfully built and managed partnerships with international music promoters, agents and PR teams, leading to high profile sell out tours across the globe. An engaging and effective communicator, Stuart is a regular contributor on BBC Radio Scotland. With his passion for Scottish products, Stuart aims to transfer his skills to assist Scotland's FMCGs companies to grow internationally.
